Business Continuity
eCourtDate is built to maintain continuous availability for justice-sector agencies that depend on the platform for daily operations. This page covers availability, backup strategy, disaster recovery, and scheduled maintenance.
Availability
- 99.95% uptime: Platform availability target
- Multi-region deployment: Agencies can deploy across multiple AWS GovCloud (US) regions (US East, US West, US South, US Texas, Multi-Region). See Infrastructure.
- Status monitoring: Real-time platform status is available at status.ecourtdate.com
Backup Strategy
- Automated hourly backups: Data is backed up every hour within AWS GovCloud (US)
- Encrypted backups: Backups are encrypted using the same AES 256-bit encryption as production data. See Encryption.

Disaster Recovery
info
For details on Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Recovery Point Objective (RPO), and disaster recovery testing procedures, contact the eCourtDate security team through the Help Center.
Service Resilience
Multiple layers of resilience protect platform operations:
- CloudFlare DDoS protection: Network-edge mitigation of distributed denial-of-service attacks
- Multiple AWS GovCloud regions: Regional failures do not affect other regions
- Webhook retry logic: Failed webhook deliveries are retried automatically. See Webhook Retries.
- Rate limiting: Protects the platform from traffic spikes. See Rate Limits.
Scheduled Maintenance
When maintenance is required:
- Advance notification: Maintenance windows are communicated through the Status Page
- Subscribe for updates: Agencies can subscribe to the Status Page to receive email or SMS notifications of scheduled maintenance and unplanned incidents
