Build an Integration
These guides are for vendors, implementation partners, and agency IT teams that build their own connection to eCourtDate. Each guide covers one type of system from start to go-live: what to configure in eCourtDate, which APIs or pages to use, and how to test in staging.
A system that has a pre-built integration does not need this section. eCourtDate runs pre-built integrations, and the agency configures them in the Console.
Guides
| Guide | For | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Build a Case Management System Integration | Case management system vendors that connect many agencies | A template agency, Copy Settings, API credentials, and a records-first sync of clients, contacts, events, cases, and payments. |
| Kiosks and Lobby Displays | Kiosk hardware vendors, kiosk software vendors, and agency IT teams | Pairing a browser as an eCourtDate kiosk or lobby display, the device and network requirements, and adding visitors to a queue from other kiosk software through the API. |
Before You Start
- Test in staging first. Build and test against an eCourtDate staging agency before the integration touches production records.
- Use the documented surfaces only. Use the REST API, SFTP, webhooks, and the portal pages that these guides name. Other endpoints and page structures can change without notice.
- Keep credentials out of shared code. Each agency's API credentials belong to that agency. See Authentication.
